Helios House Press- The Mummy's Foot
I was recently commissioned by Helios House Press to create a series of dip pen and ink drawings depicting scenes from the 19th-century story, 'The Mummy's Foot', by Théophile Gautier.
Helios House Press has collaborated with the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society to offer beautifully designed, new editions of classic tales. These editions are available through subscription to their Miskatonic Literary Society.
It was a lot of fun working on this project, drawing inspiration from such a strange tale whose central theme is the dangers of using a mummified foot as a paperweight!
